Simona Marini

was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland.

In 2007 she attended punkt G art school and subsequently began an three year apprenticeship in graphic design at artischock in Zurich.

In 2011, looking to expand her horizons, Simona moved to Hamburg where she has continued to live and work as a Junior Art Director for daviesmeyer for another three years.

She started tattooing in 2011.

In early 2014 she followed her inspiration and moved to Berlin, where she was working at the Design Studio Ruska Martìn.

In 2015 she moved to London, UK and started working for Budge Brands Ltd. as Head Of Design and Office Manager. She also started her creative project IMON the same year.

During her 5 month stay in Bali in 2016 she completed a 200h vinyasa yoga teacher training with Radiantly Alive, the fly high yoga teacher training and also got ordained as a shamanic minister after completing the level 1 Breathwork training with Venus Rising Association.

She launched an online shop with a conscious organic clothing line and other handmade pieces in 2016 under her ongoing project IMON. 

From 2016 to the present she is teaching yoga, handcraft and supervising kids every summer for several weeks in the International Boarding School; Lyceum Alpinum Summer Camp in Zuoz, Switzerland.

Mid 2017 she was working as a tattoo artist for the "Force is Female" project from Nike.

Since 2017 she is working as a freelance graphic designer. She also completed the Hotpod Yoga Teacher Training and is teaching regular yoga classes.

In 2018 she completed a 50h Budokon Yoga training with Melayne and Cameron Shayne.

She spent two years 2019/2020 deep in the Amazonian Rainforest in Acre, Brazil to hold Art Workshops under the name of Kênê Waty Shuhu with Delfina Muñoz de Toro for indigenous Villages to help the indigenous people to learn how to draw and paint so they can preserve their knowledge of plants and cultural stories.

In 2020 she got certified as a RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) Therapist by Marisa Peer and is now a certified Hypnotherapist.

In 2020/2021 she was working for several months at the renowned International Boarding School; Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz in Switzerland in the boarding house with students of all ages supporting them and being a house-parent.

2022 now approached and with that a new chapter of living in between Berlin and London working as a Hypnotherapist and Tattooist.
